Re: Wyperfield/Big Desert 2nd Try
Dimboola is only 4 hours from the Melbourne GPO, via the Western Fwy/Hwy,
so I would use the same camp site as a meeting point.
Its only a few minutes out of town, and has a tin dunny.
The town of Rainbow (photo) was the last fuel stop they used, before entering into the desert area.

Can't yet, waiting on docs advice and some medical crap before dates can be fixed.Greg wrote:Go Chris!

But 4 days of Cup day weekend may work, depending on other trips.
Here's a video I found Youtube, gives a rough idea.

Chris
I would be in this. Sand driving is fun. Looks like some of the video in the link was actually Border Track? I have a map of the region I will bring along to the next meeting and can let you know where we went on the Anzac weekend.

Excellent. As long as I get past the bit where I killed the Sierra, happy to go anywhere.Mike57 wrote:Chris

Have no intention of doing that big huge looking dune bit.
