About the Club
The Suzuki 4WD Club of Victoria was established in Melbourne in 1977. We do a range of 4WDriving from family to extreme, camping trips, maintenance and modification in a social atmosphere. This is a Suzuki based club but we happily accept other makes. Presently we have a mix of Sierra's, Jimny's, Vitara's, Grand Vitara's, LJ's and non-Suzuki’s including vehicles such as Daihatsu’s, Nissan’s, Land Rover’s, Toyota’s, Jeep’s and Gwagen’s.. Regular club activities include:
- 4wd trips.
- Tech days/nights where you learn more about your vehicles
- Club Trials - a friendly competition event to test your driving skill
- a monthly club meeting
- and more!
Trips are generally graded to suit driver experience and vehicle types: from easy (suitable for novices & families and stock vehicles) through medium to hard (looking for the hard lines so greater experience and vehicle capability is required). All trips offer a great way to get out and enjoy your vehicle in the company of other like minded people. Easy trips are open to prospective members. If prospective members wish to go on a harder trip both their vehicle and level of experience will be assessed for suitability otherwise a ride with a Club member may be organised. The Club is a member of Four Wheel Drive Victoria.
